After a great time was had in Klerksdorp with Ds. Johan and his family we went off to Bothaville, the maize capital of South Africa to experience a landscape vastly different to the usual Gauteng city life we're all accustomed to.Three nights free accommodation was arranged at 'Kommandodrif Hengeloord', situated on the Free State's side of the Vaal river. The owner of the resort is a real nice lady, and she really made us feel welcome 'in die Vrystaat'!
From here Puddy will skate to Wesselsbron, and attempt to do 40km stretches per day for the next few days!
